Setting the stage for children to think, act and create

The centre has an atmosphere in which children feel happy and supported, this is made possible through:

Encouragement

Creating a sense of belonging where children feel happy to engage with others and are offered meaningful and constructive praise.

Innovation

Self expression and creativity are actively encouraged.

Reggio Emilia

Small group projects where children are driven by their interests and enjoy endless ways to express themselves.

Peaceful Environment

A peaceful, tranquil, rich environment which is recognised for its potential to inspire children.

Dramatic play

Where children learn about themselves and the world, a chance for young minds to solve problems, coordinate and cooperate.

Dream and Imagine

Time to dream and imagine, to plan, to try, to change directions, to start over, to really become engrossed.

Loving, Caring and Dedicated Staff

Educators who act as guides, mentors and partners, who nurture and support children’s learning and wellbeing.

Children 3-4’s

The engine room of Jacaranda where children take the next step in developmental learning. A busy room where children are more actively engaged, spend longer amounts of time on activities where the level of detail is guided by the children’s interest. Projects which challenge and stimulate the imagination and creativity. Achieving more authentic learning outcomes for the children from a flow curriculum which creates a freedom and passion through learning experiences.

Children 4-5’s

A room that not only prepares children for their first years at school, but creates confident involved learners, effective communicators with a strong sense of identity and wellbeing.
